Emily Kate is Intermediate and Advanced Level Certified with Honors from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust, International Wine Center in New York City. She gained experience as a harvest intern and cellarhand in wineries in the United States and Australia. She is currently exploring the retail side of the industry in New York City at Gotham Wines. She also studied History at Columbia University and graduated in the Summer of 2014, completing her degree in only three years. She plans to continue her YouTube lectures and her historical research. Her academic schedule remains busy with speaking engagements, publishing opportunities and possibly graduate education.
