Jackson Mattek
Jackson is a freelancer: Wine junkie, mixologist, writer, actor, singer, dancer, musician-- to name a few occupations and passions. He yearns to continue exploring how wine affects culture and vice versa. He finds it no coincidence that the Greek god of wine was also a patron god of art and theatre. Jackson’s particular fascination with Old World reds started incongruously in Cincinnati, Ohio where he earned his B.F.A. in Musical Theatre. He put himself through college working at Via Vite
Contemporary Italian Bistro, learning everything he could about wine; and he never stopped.
