The Wiener Gemischte Satz is a blend of five grape varieties: Gruner Veltliner (about 50 %), Weissburgunder, Neuburger, Traminer and Riesling, all of which have been hand-picked. Four-hour maceration, followed by a gentle pressing with a pneumatic wine press. Fermentation in steel tanks. Several months of maturing on the lees before bottling.
The nose is characterized by spice and herbal notes with hints of honey and orange blossom. Elegant and balanced palate with crisp acidity, citrus and spice flavors, and a lingering finish.
