Interview with Miguel Ångel de Gregorio, owner and winemaker at Finca Allende in Rioja, Spain. A winemaker whose wine is modern but who feels the moniker “modern” refers to a defination of traditional winemaking that originated in the 1970’s. He is also against the Rioja practice of blending and his Allende is 100 percent Tempranillo grown on his parcels in Briones.
